If you’re looking forward to playing BioShock Infinite this October as originally planned, you’re in for a disappointment. The game has been delayed, and is now set to land on February 26, 2013. Creative Director Ken Levine says the development team needs more time to finish the game, and points out that the original BioShock was also delayed by several months.
That’s not the only disappointing news. BioShock Infinite will be absent from this summer’s gaming events like E3 and Gamescom, so you won’t be seeing any new footage, or getting a chance to demo it, anytime soon. Ken Levin says that preparing for these events would take too much time out of the development schedule.
