Your comics, games and comic book-inspired movies may start looking at little different, because DC Entertainment has unveiled a new logo.
It uses a “peel” effect, with the D strategically placed over the C with the upper right-hand portion of the D peeling back to unveil the hidden C. The publisher hopes this will symbolize the duality of the iconic characters in its massive universe, and different heroes and villains can appear inside the C. The new logo will begin to appear on comic books, graphic novels and websites in March, and will be rolled out over time in movies, TV shows, video games and other DC merchandise.
What do you think of the new logo? Do you think it’s awesome, or does it suck? Leave your comments below.
