Here’s the debut trailer for The Last Stand, the explosive new action movie that sees Arnold Schwarzenegger take his first starring role in almost a decade. He plays an aging LAPD narcotics officer who becomes the local sheriff in a small Texas border town. Things seem quiet, until a notorious drug kingpin tries to plow through the town on his way to Mexico, and it’s up to Arnold to stop him.
As if Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to movies wasn’t enough, The Last Stand also marks the American debut of South Korean filmmaker Kim Jee-Woon, who helmed critically-acclaimed movies like The Good, the Bad, the Weird and I Saw the Devil. It’ll destroy theatres on January 18, 2013.
