Another entertainment record has been pwned by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Publisher Activision says the new shooter earned more than a billion dollars in its first sixteen days on store shelves. That makes it the fastest-selling game in history, beating the record set by its predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Modern Warfare 3 also appears to be the fastest-selling entertainment property in general, beating the blockbuster film Avatar, which crossed the $1 billion mark after seventeen days.
