Deadline reports that Marvel and ABC are in the early stages of creating a new TV series together. Few details are known, but the show is expected to take place in the current Marvel movie universe, which encompasses The Avengers, not to mention the recent Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America films. If the show is the real deal, expect it to focus on a different group of heroes, but since it will be the same universe, some of the film stars may make cameo appearances.

Marvel currently has several different films in development. Iron Man 3 is shooting now, and Thor: The Dark World will go in front of cameras this fall. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due in 2014, along with a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. An Avengers sequel and Ant Man film are also on the way, but there’s no word yet on when they’ll arrive.
