The next instalment of the tactical Rainbow 6 series has been revealed.
Publisher Ubisoft has confirmed rumours that the new game is titled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots. It’s currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal, the same studio behind the Rainbow Six: Vegas games. Players take the role of covert operatives out to stop a group of domestic terrorists. This time around, the game promises to take the series in a new narrative direction, and introduce more co-op and multiplayer features. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots will deploy on the PS3, 360 and PC in 2013.
