The cool animated short film Ruin is being turned into a feature-length movie. The project is being set up by 20th Century Fox, and the short’s creator Wes Ball is attached to direct and co-write the screenplay.
Ruin first hit Vimeo back in March, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe where major cities are devoid of human life. It sees one man try to steal a piece of technology from an old building, only to be chased by a pack of deadly, flying robots. There’s not much story in the short, but expect that to change in the movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Terminator Salvation director McG is serving as producer.
