Andriasang reports that the popular Dreamcast game Seaman may be in the works for the Nintendo 3DS. It’s rumoured to be part of a long list of classic Dreamcast titles coming to the handheld device, but no official announcements have been made.
Seaman was released in Japan back in 1999, with a North American version following a year later. It’s a virtual pet simulator where players take care of strange fish with human faces, and watch as the creatures evolve into frog-like beings. The English-language version was narrated by Leonard Nimoy, and features plenty of zany humour.
The game’s creator Yoot Saito is currently working on other 3DS games at Level-5, the studio behind the Professor Layton series.
