Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear have a bit of history with each other, as the first ZOE title included a highly sought-after pack-in demo disc for Metal Gear Solid 2. Fast forward several years, and a similar deal echoes the original arrangement, picking up Zone of the Enders HD Collection will net you early access to a demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, before it ever hits the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live.
If you missed that particular bit of news, Konami confirmed it during last night’s pre-E3 online showcase, making the announcement amid several others. If for some crazy reason you’re not picking up the ZOE re-release (or you just kept your original PS2 copies), you’ll still get access to the demo after a brief waiting period.
