The Coen Brothers want a real singer to appear in their new film about singers.
Variety reports that In Time star and pop singer Justin Timberlake has been offered a role in the upcoming Coen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis. It tells the story of a 1960s folk musician in New York’s Greenwich Village, and is already set to star Drive actors Carey Mulligan and Oscar Isaac. We’ll let you know if Justin Timberlake takes the gig. The Coen Brothers are also working on their first TV series, which will be a comedy about the life of a private detective.
