Here’s the first trailer for the demonic new horror movie The Possession, produced by Evil Dead and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi. It stars Watchmen’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a man whose daughter is possessed by a dybbuk, an ancient Hebrew demon. That means audiences can expect plenty of Old Testament style mayhem, with plenty of eerie chills instead of modern blood and gore.

The Possession will possess theatres on August 31. Raimi is also producing a remake of Evil Dead, which will splatter audiences next year.
