The steampunk shooter Dishonored is set to hit the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 9.
It’s the latest project from Dark Messiah of Might and Magic developer Arkane Studios, and will be published by Fallout 3 and Skyrim creator Bethesda Softworks. Players take the role of an assassin out for revenge, and the game promises to deliver a flexible combat system where you can use a combination of supernatural powers and high-tech weapons. It may seem a little similar to BioShock, and that may have something to do with the fact that Arkane Studios worked on the multiplayer component of BioShock 2. Also like BioShock, players will be able to change the outcome of the story depending on the choices they make.
