At E3 last month, Electronic Arts surprised everyone by announcing that it had won the rights to make future UFC video games, beating out UFC Undisputed 3 publisher THQ. Now, the studio has revealed details on the first game it will make with the sweaty franchise.
It’s titled EA Spots UFC, and is being developed by EA Canada, the same studio behind the Fight Night games. There’s no word yet on when players can expect to see the new game enter the octagon, but it’s still in the early stages of development, so don’t hold your breath.
Surprisingly, EA Sports MMA developer EA Tiburon is not involved in the project.
