Natsume has announced that Harvest Moon: A New Beginning will hit North America later this year, just in time for the 15th anniversary of the farming franchise. What makes this a new beginning, you ask? It’s the first game in the series that allows players to create and customize their own character, with loads of other customization options built into the gameplay. New animals, crops, and supporting characters will also be included.
A New Beginning is the second game in the Harvest Moon franchise developed for the 3DS, following the release of The Tale of Two Towns last year. It was first released in Japan back in February, where it is known as Bokujō Monogatari: Hajimari no Daichi.
