Hugh Jackman is set to star in a gritty new revenge thriller titled Prisoners, where he’ll play a normal man out to find a kidnapper who took his daughter. The project has been in development for several years, and even had Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale attached to it at one point.
Prisoners will be helmed by Denis Villeneuve, the director of the Oscar-nominated Canadian movie Incendies. It’s expected to begin shooting soon.
