According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Tree of Life and The Debt star Jessica Chastain is the latest thespian in talks to join the cast of Iron Man 3. There’s no official word on what Marvel character she might play, but she’s rumoured to be a scientist associated with Iron Man himself, Tony Stark. Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce are also expected to appear in the film.

Iron Man 3 will begin shooting at the end of May, and is scheduled to fly into theatres on May 3, 2013.
