KickBeat Combines Martial Arts and Rhythm Games

Zen Studios, the developer behind the Zen Pinball series, has announced its latest project, a PlayStation Vita exclusive known as KickBeat.

It aims to combine the martial arts fighting genre with rhythm music games, so players will need to time their attacks to the beats of whatever song is playing during a match. It’ll come with licensed tracks from bands like Pendulum and Marilyn Manson, and players will also be able to import tunes from their own music libraries. Just make sure your songs go well with punching and kicking.

KickBeat will fight its way to the PlayStation Vita later this year. More new details will be unveiled at E3 next month.
