Max Payne 3 Classic Multiplayer Pack Available as Post-Launch DLC

Rockstar has announced that the Classic Multiplayer DLC pack available with the Special Edition of Max Payne 3 will be released as post-launch DLC.

This is good news for those of you that missed out on the Special Edition, as now you can access these classic characters - for a price. A list of available characters can be found here.

This raises the age old question of whether special editions are worth the extra money. The idea is that you pay extra and get something that nobody else has, but if everyone can buy the content after launch then it becomes meaningless. The flip side is that everybody should get equal access to in-game content, which is a more than valid argument. Maybe the solution is to stop giving in-game items and only offer physical goods with special editions, then fans would actually feel like they are getting exclusive content for the extra money they spent at launch.

Should content be made available to everyone? What should be included in special editions of games?
