Speaking with Digital Spy, THQ’s global brand manager Mark Madsen has revealed that the Wii U version of Metro: Last Light is no longer in development. The port was announced last year when Nintendo unveiled the new console, but Madsen says the development team has decided to focus all of its efforts on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 versions. He adds that a Wii U version could still happen, but it would arrive sometime after the other versions launch in early 2013.
Metro: Last Light is a sequel to the 2010 game Metro: 2033, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Moscow where survivors must fend off mutants and rival humans inside the underground subway system. It was originally expect to emerge before the end of the year, before being delayed last month.
