Deadline reports that NBC is working on a TV series based on the Vertigo and DC Comics series Midnight, Mass. The books were first published in 2002, and follow the story of two married occult experts, who take on supernatural creatures in the fictional town of Midnight, Massachusetts while dealing with their own marital problems.
The TV show is being penned by Snow White And The Huntsman co-writer Evan Daugherty, but this isn’t the first time NBC has taken a stab at the material. A TV show based on the comic was in the works back in 2009, but never saw the light of day. It remains to be seen if this adaptation will have better luck.
