New Spy Hunter Announced For Vita and 3DS

One of gaming’s classic combat racing franchises, Spy Hunter, is blazing back on portable systems.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that TT Fusion is working on a new chapter of the legendary series for release this Fall. No doubt this is in conjunction with the original game’s 30th anniversary next year. Players will once again play as the mysteriously-named “Agent”, who drives the G-6155 Interceptor, a decked-out high-tech car that has been put together to fight terrorism.

Spy Hunter‘s classic gameplay has been upgraded to give PlayStation Vita and 3DS players a new, adrenaline-charged experience,” said Warner Bros. IE senior vice president of production and development Samantha Ryan. “Gamers now have more choice in the transformation and customization with greater hand controls, brilliant graphics and enhanced action cameras.”

As with the original Spy Hunter, the G-6155 Interceptor will be packed with a variety of offensive and defensive weaponry, and can transform from a car to a speed boat to take the fight to a variety of locations.
