Dishonored Voice Cast Announced

People are already talking about Arkane Studios’ upcoming first-person steampunk RPG Dishonored, but today it was revealed that some big-name Hollywood talent would be talking in it.

The Hollywood Reporter today brings us word that names like Susan Sarandon, Carrie Fisher, Brad Dourif, John Slattery, Michael Madsen, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Lena Headey would be lending their voices to characters in the game.

Sarandon will play the character Granny Rigs, described as “an intriguing old blind woman now deranged after years of street life.” Fisher will be the voice of the government propaganda being pumped out throughout the city via loudspeakers; Dourif will be an inventor who creates the mask the main character wears; Slattery will play the role of Admiral Havelock; Madsen will be a “mysterious assassin” named Daud; Mortez will lend her voice to the kidnapped daughter of the Empress, Young Lady Emily; and Headey will join her as Emily’s caretaker.

“Having such talented actors voice Dishonored‘s compelling cast of characters adds a rich, powerful element to the game,” Arkane Studios president Raphaël Colantonio told The Hollywood Reporter. “We want to draw people into this virtual world and make it feel real. This celebrated cast adds wonderful depth and credibility to the overall Dishonored gameplay experience.”
