Battlefield Premium to Offer Early DLC Access?

The previously rumored Battlefield Premium service will offer subscribers early access to all of Battlefield 3′s upcoming expansions, according to a new report.

Premium’s one off subscription fee will cover the cost of all upcoming expansions and grants early access to them, similar to Call of Duty: Elite, reputable Battlefield fan-site Battlefieldo is reporting. Battlefield Premium will include the expansions Close Call (June), Armored Kill (Fall) and End Game (Winter), The service also provides free access to the unannounced bonus content coming August and a yet to be announced firth expansion rumored to be coming Mach 2013.

“First out is the one-of-a-kind Premium knife and black dog tag, plus a set of soldier camos, weapon camos, dog tags and Assignments that will make sure you stand out and get more personalisation options,”  a leaked description previously revealed.

As long as the major Battlelog features remain free, and the only bonus items given away are atheistic, players should be fairly happy with the service. There will probably be a few grumbles regarding early access to expansions, but we don’t expect it to be more than a couple of weeks. The service is apparently going to be announced at E3 next month, so we should have more details then, providing the service actually exists.

Would you be willing to sign up to the service?
