The Syfy network has announced that Sanctuary has been cancelled, and will not be back for a fifth season. The fourth season of the series concluded back in December, and the cancellation between seasons means that the writers will not be able to wrap up everything with a proper finale.
Sanctuary started life as a web series back in 2007, before being turned into a TV show in 2008. The complete fourth season will hit Blu-ray on July 17, and you can watch out behind the scenes look at the show by clicking here.
