The new Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises is getting an iPhone, iPad, and Android game. Players will take control of DC’s best superhero as he cleans up the streets of Gotham, and the gameplay will offer a third-person perspective during combat, similar to Batman: Arkham City. It’s slated to hit the App Store and Google Play soon.
The Dark Knight Rises is being handled by Gameloft, the studio behind mobile titles like N.O.V.A. and the Asphalt racing series. There’s no word yet if there are plans to turn the Batman adventure into a console game. The movie will swoop into theatres on July 20.
