Baz Luhrmann’s 3D take on the iconic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby was originally set to pop off theatre screens this Christmas, but was delayed earlier this summer. Now, distributor Warner Bros. has announced that the film will now arrive on May 10 in North America, and begin rolling out across the globe a few weeks after that.
Like the book, the film will take place during the roaring 1920s, and star Leonardo DiCaprio as the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby. Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, and Joel Edgerton also appear in the film.
