WGA Awards Nominees Announced – NEWS

The nominees are in for the next Writers Guild of America Awards.

All five movies up for Best Original Screenplay are comedies, although all of them have warm-hearted or dramatic undertones.

Young Adult, Written by Diablo Cody; Paramount Pictures

It isn’t all laughs over on the Best Adapted Screenplay front. Writer Steve Zaillian scored two nominations for his work on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Moneyball.
