Scott is so off on SCV. They removed a lot of mostly unnecessary things, added new things, revamped returning systems, characters got reworked, upped the gameplay speed and the engine itself is different. You can't play SCV like SCIV outside the basic level. And seeing as it's basic level, that's irrelevant anyway. nnSCIV was pretty meh by the way. SCIII also had lots or performance problems such as file corruption and frame rate drops) so consistency of excellence isn't the best statement to say. nnBut in the end it is not a 6, it's a 7.5 at least. A 9 is too high imo due to how much it lacks in the single player experience (especially compared to past Soul games). I'd give it a solid 8.
