"Ninja Blade doesn't make a good first impression: derivative story, simple combat with little depth... but as I played the game it gradually picked up steam. The battles get more and more outrageous, particularly the boss fights. The game is spruced up with lots of quick time events, which look gorgeous, but the game tends to over-rely on them. However, if you just want to take a variety of ninja weapons to slimey-looking monsters, Ninja Blade is pretty good for letting off tension. "
