Bottom Line
Better then average shooter action for Wii, just don't go comparing it to the shooters on the other consoles.

"Let's be frank about something. Yes, The Conduit is a good first person shooter... for Wii. If you have a PlayStation 3 or an Xbox 360 sitting next to your Wii, there's just no comparing The Conduit to Left 4 Dead, BioShock and dozens of other great shooters. And it's not just the visuals, it's the design. The Conduit's linear levels are just not that interesting to explore, and there aren't many combat dynamics besides hide behind cover and strafe out. I will give it credit for the controls, especially since you can customize them however you want. I set up my controls to work with my Nyko Perfect Shot, and the movement was very intuitive. There were a few too many controls to assign to get it all in perfectly (jump, reload, crouch, etc) but I made it work well enough. I also love the sound of the game. When you use that ASE device to detect and use hidden stuff, it sounds like something truly arcane is going on. I think The Conduit is fine game for people who are waiting to see what Team Ninja does with Metroid... but not for those waiting for Modern Warfare 2."
